The West End address is one of three Ritz-Carlton condominium locations in the Washington, DC area, including Georgetown and Chevy Chase. From chic one-bedrooms to eye-popping two and three-level penthouses, residences at the Ritz-Carlton West End embody the best of the luxury lifestyle experience in the nation’s capital. There was one new listing at the Ritz-Carlton West End in June, but it is already pending. So first, let’s take a look at what’s currently available.

Unit #PH3C is a showplace penthouse that remains up for grabs at $1,689,000. The two bedrooms, 2.5 baths duplex has a unique and welcoming floorplan with 1,795 square feet of modern living space across two levels, as well as two private outdoor terraces. Bedrooms are on the first level, with custom wool-silk carpeting and elegant ensuite baths. The upper level features a large main living room area with a 60-inch fireplace encased in artisanal stone tile.

Also still available is Unit #3M, a one-bedroom, two-bath condo with a bonus den that serves equally well as a second sleeping space, or a work-from-home office. The roomy 1,094 square foot residence listed in May for $899,000. Features include a front foyer, Brazilian cherry herringbone floors, ample closet space, an in-unit washer and dryer, and a walk-in gourmet kitchen with granite counters, upscale stainless steel appliances, and a serving window to the dining area. Included is one garage parking space.

Unit #3B was new to the marketplace in June but received an accepted offer in just four days’ time. Listed at $2,250,000, the three-bedroom, 3.5-bath residence spans 2,449 square feet and is scheduled to close in July. There is a huge front gallery, custom wall treatments, a massive main living room area, and a very spacious formal dining room. The gourmet kitchen is nicely appointed, including a wine refrigerator, and there are two private terraces with expansive West End views. Walk-in closets, front-loading washer and dryer, and secure garage parking round out the conveniences.

Also pending is Unit #8E. This exceptionally large residence has three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and 3,153 square feet of living space. The list price was $2,799,000. A huge living room features a standalone fireplace and is open to the adjacent formal dining room. There is also a family room that could double as a fourth bedroom. The gourmet kitchen is simply stunning, and a private outdoor terrace is a wonderful place for morning coffee or evening libations.

Unit #4C was withdrawn from the market in June. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment with 1,846 square feet of living space had been priced at $1,995,000 and was only active for two months before being withdrawn.

Unit #6C has also been withdrawn. The roomy 1,846 square foot condo with two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and two private terraces had been listed at $1,675,000. Features had included a formal dining room and a large front gallery.

There were no closings in June.

Those fortunate enough to live at the Ritz-Carlton West End enjoy a raft of hotel amenities, such as room service from the popular downstairs restaurants and options for maid service. There is also a staffed lobby, porters, a doorman, and accommodating concierge service.
