Turnberry Tower |Market Pulse | July 2024

With an ideal waterfront location, Turnberry Tower is the tallest residential building in the region. Designed by Robert Swedroe, the 26-story condominium with its sleek glass façade and resort-style amenities can be found in the popular Rosslyn neighborhood, often referred to as the Gateway to Arlington. The building is conveniently close to Key Bridge which crosses the Potomac River to Georgetown. The Rosslyn Metro Station is also nearby, as are many shops and restaurants.

New to the market in July is Unit #909. Listed at $1,150,000, the 1,642 square foot condo has one bedroom, two full baths, and a bonus den. Private elevator access, dedicated parking, and commanding city views are part of the package along with a sweeping covered balcony and an open kitchen with granite counters, and panelized Sub-Zero and Miele appliances that set into Snaidero Italian cabinetry. Wood grain tile floors add another stylish touch.

Also new in July is Unit #408 with an asking price of $820,000. The oversized one-bedroom apartment has 1.5 baths and 1,312 square feet of living space. There is a large desk nook off the front foyer, with a convenient powder room next to that. Hardwood floors run throughout, along with massive windows, and a terrific gourmet kitchen with stone counters, Miele and Sub-Zero appliances, and glassy Snaidero cabinetry. Unit #1801 received an accepted offer in July and is now in Active Under Contract (A/C) status, meaning that it is pending with contingencies and can still be shown for backup offers. Listed at $1.5 million, the two-bedroom, two-bath flat features a large and open 1,754 square foot layout. Among the many features is a private elevator, along with soaring ceilings, and massive windows.

Also in A/C status is Unit #702. The oversized F Model had been listed at $1,799,000. The 2,227 square foot layout includes two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a den that can be used as a third bedroom. A 300 square foot private terrace adds even more depth. Other features include a direct access elevator, diagonally laid hardwood floors, and secure parking.

Unit #707 was in A/C status in June and is now pending, with an anticipated closing in early August. Listed at $860,000 the one-bedroom flat has a den with pocket doors that can also be used as a second bedroom, and two exquisite full baths. Lovely hardwood floors run throughout the apartment, and the open gourmet kitchen features Snaidero cabinetry, stone counters, and Miele and Sub-Zero appliances.

There were no closings at Turnberry Tower in July.
