City Center - Washington DC's Hottest New Development

At the time of its ambitious completion in 2013, City Center DC was described by then Mayor Anthony Williams as “the crowning achievement in the rebirth of our downtown.” The mixed-use outdoor mall and residential community in the federal city’s Mount Vernon Triangle is home to with 216 luxury condos known as the Residences at City Center split between two sleek towers, as well as apartment rentals, office buildings, a hotel, a 1.5 acre park, and more than 40 shops and restaurants.

New to the market in September, Unit #705 is priced at $2,349,000. The 1,423 square foot corner residence with two bedrooms and 2.5 baths also comes with two reserved garage parking spaces. Of special interest is the spectacular private two-level terrace with rustic wood flooring and landscaping, perfect for hosting dinners or other social events.

Unit #909 listed in September for $1,445,000. This two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment has an airy 1,395 square foot layout with a long and linear open living room, dining room, and kitchen concept featuring giant windows wrapping around two sides. Also notable is the entrance gallery, European white oak flooring, motorized shades, and a terrific chef’s kitchen with top of the line appliances.

The other new September listing is Unit #405. Offered at $875,000, the stunning one bedroom, 1.5-bath retreat has a seamlessly integrated living and dining area bathed in natural light and enhanced by motorized roller shades. There is one new price reduction among the available listings. Unit #1010 listed in August and has now been lowered from $585,000 down to $565,000. Still active after coming to market in July is Unit #514 with an asking price of $1,114,900. Originally listed at $699,000, the cute condo went through multiple cuts before arriving at the current price. This is the lowest priced condo currently available at City Center DC, yet it’s still waiting for its new owners to arrive.

There were no pending sales or closings in the month of September.

Those living at City Center have an incredible array of amenities and conveniences right at their doorsteps. The condo community provides concierge service, doormen, a fitness center and yoga studio, wine storage, community rooms, business centers, a bar/lounge, and secure parking.
