Market Leaders | Most Units Sold | September 2018

The Clara Barton in Penn Quarter had three sales in September, marking the second month in a row that the “It Building” topped the District’s leaderboard. But while this modern address with hotel-style living stood alone at the top, no less than five buildings had two sales each. Those include Atrium in Arlington, Madrigal Lofts in Mount Vernon Triangle, The Lafayette (sister building to Clara Barton) in Penn Quarter, The Pennsylvania in Penn Quarter and the legendary Watergate in Foggy Bottom. There were also five buildings in which one unit sold. Notable on this list is Adams Alley in Adams Morgan. A three-level penthouse marked the first sale for this historic former Colortone Printing Building since August 12, 2017. The remainder of the one-sale list is as follows: 2020 Lofts in the U Street Corridor, Adams Row in Adams Morgan, City Center in Mount Vernon Triangle and Gaslight Square in Rosslyn.
