Known for its waterfront location, direct elevator access and extra-spacious floorplans, the 26-story Turnberry Tower is one of Washington Metro’s most sought-after addresses. Luxury shoppers will be glad to know that a number of new condos came on the market during the month of September.
The most expensive of the new listings is #PH2109, a fabulous 21st floor penthouse with 3-bedrooms, 3-baths, five-inch plank floors, private elevator and 2,655 square feet of living space. The modern flat has an extended balcony with sweeping views of the Potomac, Georgetown and the Key Bridge, and is listed at $3,100,000.
Other new September entries include Unit #1201, a 1-bedroom plus den measuring 1,645 square feet with Brazilian Cherry floors, marble bath and west-facing balcony views for $1,095,000; Unit #404, also 1-bedroom plus den with 1,645 square feet, tile and wood floors and a 256’ balcony for $1,035,000; and Unit #1605, a 1-bed, 1-bath with a roomy 1,322-foot floorplan, cashmere granite breakfast bar and a balcony with stunning river views for $872,000.
There is also one active listing from August; Unit #1404, a-bedroom plus den with new hardwood floors, cove ceilings, an open gourmet kitchen and a large balcony. The asking price is $1,125,000.
One residence sold in September. Unit #1612 is a 2-bed, 2-bath flat with private elevator and a large balcony offering river views. The list price for the 1,742-foot residence is $1,350,000 and it closed for $1,300,000 or 96 percent of asking.
Additionally, Unit #1204 was withdrawn from market in September. The 1,645-square foot apartment with 1-bed and den plus Georgetown views from the terrace, had been listed for $1,150,000.
