Ritz-Carlton West End | Market Pulse | October 2019

Offering world class service in a highly popular Washington setting, the Residences at Ritz-Carlton West End are housed in two 11-story condominium towers. In-between the two condo buildings is the central hotel component. The West End development also includes ground floor retail, as well as offering hotel-style full service amenities.

The only new Ritz-Carlton West End listing to hit the market in October is already pending with contingencies. Unit #6E, with 1-bedroom, 2-full baths, a den and 1,070 square feet of living space is now considered Active Under Contract. The apartment with its Brazilian Cherry herringbone floors was only on the market for six days before receiving the accepted offer. Listed at $849,000, the residence also features a balcony overlooking the courtyard.

Fortunately, there are other available residences, listed prior to October. Unit #2C came on the market at the tail end of September with 2-bedrooms, 2.5-baths and a large 1,806 square foot floorplan. Unit #PH2E is also still active. The impressive 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath penthouse boasts 4,008 square feet of living space and three different private outdoor terraces! Listed at $3,995,000, the luxury city home has intricately beamed ceilings, custom wall treatments, family room with courtyard views, a huge kitchen, formal dining room, a sun room with secondary kitchen and breakfast bar, master bedroom suite with private terrace and spa bath, and so much more!

When it comes to truly extravagant listings, it’s hard to beat Unit #PH3E. Available for $6,895,000, the 5,112 square foot penthouse has 3-bedrooms, 5.5-baths and a 4,000 square foot private rooftop deck. Other features in this contemporary duplex include a gallery, library, family room, Chef’s kitchen, formal dining room, butler’s pantry, owner’s suite and two balconies in addition to the roof deck.

Unit #4C with 2-bedrooms and 2.5-baths is still available for $1,795,000. Rounding out the active listings is Unit #PH1L, a 2-bedroom, 2-bath penthouse for just $1,099,000! Unit #PH3P is now active under contract. The unique 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath penthouse triplex was reduced from $2.2 million to $1,999,000 in September. An accepted offer soon ensued for the multilevel residence with 2,247 square feet of living space topped off by a large private sky terrace with cityscape views. Unit #2E went under agreement in October and is due to close in November. There was one closing in October. Unit #4M has 2-bedrooms, 2-baths and 1,094 square feet of living space. Listed at $819,000, the residence with its Brazilian Cherry floors and gourmet kitchen featuring granite counters and stainless steel appliances, went under contract in just seven days, and ultimately closed at $810,000.
