Turnberry Tower |Market Pulse | July 2020

Located by the Potomac River in Arlington’s Rosslyn neighborhood, Turnberry Tower is the tallest residential building in the Washington Metro area. The sleek 26-story structure was designed by ACG Architects, and offers striking views of the river and city skylines. It’s also conveniently close to the Rosslyn Metro, as well as Key Bridge which leads across the river to Georgetown.

There was only one new listing in July at Turnberry Tower, and it is already in active-under-contract status. Unit #703 is priced at $1,450,000 and offers two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1,803 square feet of living space. Unit #406 listed in June for $949,999 and has now been reduced all the way down to $849,000. Unit #1011 has been newly reduced from $1,899,000 down to $1,799,500. The 2,229 square foot flat has two bedrooms, a den, 2.5 baths and direct elevator access. There is marble flooring throughout the living areas with hardwood in the bedrooms, plus designer wall accents, giant floor-to-ceiling windows and a large private terrace. The glossy gourmet kitchen looks straight out of a magazine, and the marble bathrooms are lavish indeed. Also offering a fresh price cut is Unit #804, from $1,200,000 down to $1,158,000. The one-bedroom, two-bath flat has a nice-sized den/office, and a very roomy 1,645 square foot layout with wide-plank hardwood floors, giant windows and a large private balcony. The modern kitchen features Snaidero cabinets and Sub-Zero and Miele appliances, while the master suite has two walk-ins closets and a marble spa bath. Unit #2301 is a spectacular penthouse that originally listed for $4,395,000. It has been reduced twice since then, to $3,495,000.
