Taking home first place in the list to sales ratio for October is Unit #301 at The Whitman in Mount Vernon Triangle. The two-bedroom condo with 2.5 baths and 1,238 square feet of luxe modern living space listed for $729,000 before being bid up to $765,000, equaling 104.94 percent of the original asking amount. This was one of four closings at the full-service building in October, topping the list of most units sold. Second place in the list to sales category is Unit #4013 at Adagio in Bethesda. The 1,611 square foot apartment with two ensuite bedrooms, a den, and 2.5 baths in old, came to market with an asking price of $875,000 and sold for $900,000, or 102.86 percent. The condo has a private balcony, a big walk-in laundry room, and an owners’ suite with its own interior hallway and dressing room.

Unit #517 at The Columbia in the West End neighborhood takes home third place honors in the list to sales ratio as well as fifth place in the overall sales price. The three-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment with 1,791 square feet of living space plus a 196 sq. ft. private terrace, listed for $1,495,000 but sold for $1,534,076, or 102.61 percent. Fourth place goes to Unit #101/102 at The Watergate in Foggy Bottom. This double-sized residence with two levels, two kitchens, five bedrooms, five full baths, two partial baths, and an astounding 4,325 square feet of interior space, also has a huge fenced private patio. After listing for $2,249,000, the duplex sold for $2,300,000 or 102.27 percent of asking. It was also the second highest closing for the month for a condo or cooperative.

Fifth place goes to Unit #PH 13 at the Residences at Market Square in Penn Quarter. The one-bedroom, one-bath penthouse may only have 538 square feet of living space but of offers the most magnificent DC and Pennsylvania Avenue views from its private roof level balcony. The flat listed for $519,900 and sold for $530,000 or 101.94 percent. It also had the second highest price per square foot at $985.13. Unit #503 at Muse in Old Town Alexandria closes out the list, selling for $2,068,000 or 101.62 percent of list. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment has 1,939 sq. ft. of space.
