City Center - Washington DC's Hottest New Development

Those seeking a package of luxury, service, and convenience would do well to consider living at City Center DC. Ideally located in the Mount Vernon Triangle, the ambitious mixed-use development spans 10 acres at the former site of the Washington Convention Center, offering new construction with modern condominiums, apartments, hotels, restaurants, upscale retailers, and even a 1.5 acre park.

Prospective buyers have no shortage of choices at City Center. It starts with multiple new listings in November including Unit #705 with an asking price of $2,349,000. The two-bedroom apartment with 2.5 baths has a 1,423 square foot layout. Wide plank floors, an open gourmet kitchen, walls of windows, and an extraordinary private terraced rooftop terrace make this a real standout.

Newly listed in November is Unit #404. Offered at $765,000, the 830 square foot apartment with one bedroom and 1.5 baths is bright and open with a white-on-white modernity that adds to the spacious vibe. A glossy white Euro-style kitchen is set into a single wall with panelized stainless steel appliances. A desk nook is along the same extended wall. Parking is included.

Topping the list of available high end condos at City Center is Unit #1101. This spectacular penthouse is offered at $2,950,000 with two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 2,676 square feet of luxurious living space. With its soaring 12-foot ceilings and extra-wide plank floors, the residence also features walls of wraparound floor-to-ceiling windows, a Euro-style open kitchen, and an extended private balcony.

Still up for grabs at $1,425,000 is Unit #702, a handsome 1,340 square foot residence with bleached wide plank floors, and an open living, dining, and cooking area featuring giant windows that come together on two sides. Unit #507 remains available for $699,999. Unit #911 was withdrawn from the market in November. It had been listed at $1,495,000, with 1,452 square feet of living space, two bedrooms on opposite ends, and two separate balconies. The main living and dining area has giant window walls, as well as a rebuilt corner work-from-home space with its own window.

Also withdrawn is Unit #502. The corner condo with two bedrooms, two baths, and 1,340 square feet of space had been listed at $1,475,000. A gourmet cook space with Molteni cabinetry is completely open to the combined living and dining area, while a large primary suite offers multiple custom closets and built ins.
