City Center - Washington DC's Hottest New Development

Occupying a full 10 acres in the Mount Vernon Triangle, this downtown oasis offers virtually everything one needs in a luxury setting. CityCenterDC is one of the top mixed-use communities in the nation and has been described in the New York Times as a modern-day Rockefeller Plaza. Included are high-end condos known as the Residences at CityCenterDC, along with hotels, a plaza, a 1.5 acre park, and over 40 upscale retailers and restaurants.

While there weren’t any new listings in December, there are still plenty of active condo offerings at CityCenterDC. The highest-priced active listing at the moment is Unit #1101. Available for $2,950,000, this spectacular penthouse has two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 2,676 square feet of luxurious living space. With soaring 12-foot ceilings and extra-wide plank floors, the residence also features walls of wraparound floor-to-ceiling windows, a Euro-style open kitchen, and an extended private balcony.

Still available after listing in November is Unit #705, priced at $2,349,000. The two-bedroom apartment with 2.5 baths has a 1,423 square foot layout. Wide plank floors, an open gourmet kitchen, walls of windows, and an extraordinary private terraced rooftop terrace with wooden flooring and lovely landscaping make this luxe condominium a real standout.

Unit #702 is currently listed at $1,425,000. The modern and open 1,340 square foot residence sports bleached wide plank floors, and a combined living, dining, and cooking area with giant windows wrapping around two sides. The apartment boasts two separate bedroom suites, custom closet organizers, track lighting, an extended balcony, a washer and dryer, and two reserved parking spaces.

Still active after listing in October is Unit #710. The two-bedroom apartment with two baths and 1,124 square feet of space, is being offered at $1,095,000. This residence has a sunny layout with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a large central living and dining area. The gourmet kitchen with its Italian cabinetry and recessed appliances, is completely open, while an extended private balcony is just the place to sit with morning coffee or evening libations.

Unit #908 came to market last month and remains available for $762,000. The one-bedroom, 1.5-bath condo offers a roomy 860 square feet of living space and a huge wall of windows. The main living area presents an open, linear design, with living, dining, and cooking all in one big room. There’s a cozy and very useable desk nook next to the open gourmet kitchen, and a large bedroom with ensuite bath.

Priced at $785,000, Unit #501 is an oversized one-bedroom, one-bath flat with a 981 square foot corner layout. There are huge windows nearly everywhere you look, including along the front hallway, the dining area, and the open living room. A wall of custom built-ins acts as a functional work of art while also providing abundant storage. The floors are white oak, and the leafy views of the central courtyard are magnificent.

Unit #507 is still active at $699,999. The one-bedroom, one-bath flat with 724 square feet of living space boasts new European white oak floors, and a big bedroom with a massive custom closet and lavish tiled bathroom. The gourmet kitchen with its sleek Molteni cabinets, quartz counters, and an island, is open to the living and dining areas.

There is one condo currently under contract at City Center. Unit #405 had been listed at $1,499,950 before receiving an accepted offer. The 1,538 square-foot corner unit with three sunny exposures is due to close in mid-January. There are two primary bedroom suites, 2.5 baths, and wide white oak floors throughout. The condo overlooks terraced courtyards.

Residents at CityCenterDC enjoy an extensive package of full service amenities, including a staffed front desk with concierge and porters, a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, community rooms, an executive business center, and a bar lounge. A lovely roof deck features a large water feature. The mixed-use community with its many fine retailers and restaurants, is just steps from Washington’s landmarks, museums, entertainment, Chinatown, and the Mt. Vernon Square/7th St Metro station.
