Winner of the highest price per square foot category for December is Unit #5K at a highly coveted address, 3303 Water Street in Georgetown. The one-bedroom, one-bath residence with 900 square feet of living space sold for $1,050,000, translating to a very sturdy $1,166.67 per square foot. The building is right near the new Georgetown Waterfront Park, and the giant windows in the apartment boast unforgettable views of the Potomac River and Roosevelt Island. Second place goes to Unit #604 at the fabulous VIO at The Wharf in Washington’s Southwest Waterfront. Capturing third place is Unit #302 at the coveted Somerset House in Chevy Chase in Maryland, just across the border from Washington, DC. Unit #1101 at the new Pierce building in Rosslyn takes home fifth place in the size sweepstakes as well as fourth place in the highest sales price category.
