Topping the price per square foot category is Unit #2501 at the coveted Waterview in Rosslyn. This fabulous penthouse with 2,165 square feet of exquisite livings space, wraparound windows, and stunning views of the Potomac River sold for $2,626,000 or $1,212.47 per square foot. The three-bedroom penthouse was also the second-highest sale in March. Unit #310 at The Matrix in Logan Circle came in second at $1,020.28 per sq. foot. The 800 square foot one-bedroom apartment with 1.5 baths, wood floors, and a split-level loft-style layout sold for $590,000.

Unit #217 at Lofts 14 in Logan Circle not only took third place honors in the size category at $1,000 per square foot, it also came in third in the list to sales category at 105.67 percent of asking. The hipster loft-style condo with one bedroom, two baths, and a huge 770 square foot private terrace sold for $950,000. Fourth place goes to Unit #PH2B at 2501 Penn in Mount Vernon. This very impressive penthouse with 4,500 square feet of living space, also boasts the highest sales price in March at $4,450,000, translating to $988.89 per sq. foot. With an interior makeover by Barry Dixon, this two-level home was the first sale at the popular building since November 2021.

Unit #68 at Westlight in the West End neighborhood captures fifth place. The 637 square foot flat sold for a tidy $625,000 or $981.16 per sq. foot. Though not large, the apartment is highly appealing with its modernist design and giant windows. Unit #301 at 525 Water Street in the Southwest Waterfront wraps things up at $951.65 per square foot. The three-bedroom, two-bath condo with 1,365 square feet of living space and water views from every room, sold for $1,299,000. The rarely available corner unit with 10-foot ceilings is located by the banks of the Potomac River and the Washington Channel, strolling distance from The Wharf and its many attractions.
