City Center - Washington DC's Hottest New Development

It is large, ideally located, and has so much to offer. CityCenterDC is a mixed-use community and outdoor mall covering 10 acres of vibrant city space in the Mount Vernon Triangle and Downtown area. Upscale condos are located within two 12-story towers known as the Residences at CityCenter. There is also a hotel, apartment rentals, over 40 stores and restaurants, and a 1.5-acre park. With 216 condo residences between the two buildings, there is rarely a shortage of listings.

New to the market in May is Unit #801 in the H Street tower. The one-bedroom, one-bath flat with 981 square feet of living space is priced at $875,000. The sun-drenched condo has three exposures, allowing tons of natural light to pour through the floor-to-ceiling windows. No worries if it gets a little too bright, just adjust the blinds.

Still available after listing in April is an extraordinary residence that combines two apartments into one supersized residence. Unit #901/902 is offered for $5,995,000 with four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and 2,816 square feet of airy living space. Bonus features include an office, a large terrace with putting green, an additional balcony spanning the length of the unit, and a temperature controlled private wine cellar than can store 2,300 bottles.

Unit #911 remains active with an asking price of $1,489,999. The two-bedroom apartment with 2.5 baths and 1,452 square feet of interior space has several upgrades from its current owners. Features include pale Northern Oak floors, stylish full-height built-ins, giant wraparound windows, a modern Euro-style kitchen that fits along one wall, and a long balcony that is perfect for drinks or coffee.

Located in the H Street tower, Unit #404 is listed at $849,000. This 1,003 square foot condo is CityCenter’s largest one-bedroom. 1.5-bath floorplan. The main living area is big and open with a wall of full-height windows, tons of space for furniture and media, and a stylish kitchen that tucks neatly into the corner. The oversized bedroom suite includes a work desk area and a walk-in closet.

Unit #813 remains up for grabs at $749,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath condo boasts a roomy 940 square foot floorplan with tons of natural light from the massive windows. Custom wall treatments add to the allure, along with a large foyer, a desk nook, a gourmet kitchen with white Caesarstone counters, and an east-facing bedroom with custom closet organizers.

Still active is Unit #703 with an asking price of $799,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath apartment has a chic and open 882-square foot layout with wide-plank Northern White Oak floors throughout and sweeping city views. The Foster + Partners designed open cook space features Bosch appliances, Molteni cabinetry, and white stone counters.

After listing in April, Unit #905 remains available for $699,950. This stylish one-bedroom, 1.5-bath flat has a 766 square foot layout with updates from Ernesto Santalla including custom designer wall treatments and custom silk drapes. Other features include a dedicated office area, an extended private balcony, wide-plank flooring, and a Euro-style modern kitchen.

Offered at $690,000, Unit #709 is a rarely available south facing one-bedroom, one-bath apartment with extra-wide plank floors and a wall of full height windows. The Foster + Partners kitchen features bleached walnut cabinetry, and Bosch, Miele and Thermador appliances. A 122 square foot balcony offers wonderful city views. The built-in office area includes a coat closet.

Unit #908 was reduced in price in May, for the second time in two months. The one-bedroom apartment with 1.5 baths in the I Street tower was originally listed at $750,000 and is now available for $730,000. The 860 square foot condo has a sleek and modern gourmet kitchen with Molteni cabinetry, panelized appliances, and white quartz counters.

Unit #1010 also received a price cut in May, from $647,000 down to $620,000. The competitively priced 635 square foot flat has one bedroom and one bath, with a linear open design featuring floor-to-ceiling sliding doors out to the balcony. The gourmet kitchen has panelized appliances, and the bedroom suite has custom closet systems. One garage parking space conveys.

There were multiple closings in May starting with Unit #908 in the H Street tower. After listing for $1,550,000, the two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment sold for $1,525,000. The unit was fully renovated by Ernest Santalla in 2021, and features corner window exposures, custom built-ins, a fabulous open kitchen, and an extended balcony.

Unit #404 in the I Street building sold for $715,000 after listing for $765,000. The modern white-on-white apartment with one bedroom, 1.5 baths and 830 square feet of space features white oak floors, a glossy white Euro-style kitchen with panelized appliances, a desk cubby, and a Juliet balcony.

Unit #603 closed at $685,000 after being offered for $735,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath apartment with 858 square feet of living space includes a designer kitchen with Molteni cabinetry and upscale appliances, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows that open from the living area to a large balcony.

Unit #705 expired in May. The sunny 1,423 square foot condo with two bedrooms and 2.5 baths had been listed at $2,349,000. The spacious residence featured an extraordinarily large private deck with terraced wooden flooring and planters. We will keep tabs to see if the unit is relisted.

Those fortunate enough to live at the Residences at CityCenterDC enjoy a wide range of full service amenities, with staffed lobbies for each building, concierge service and doormen. There are two roof parks, a state-of-the-art fitness centers, a yoga studio, wine storage, a bar lounge, community rooms, an executive business center, and secure parking. The community with its high-end retailers and restaurants, is close to all of DC’s exiting downtown attractions.
