City Center - Washington DC's Hottest New Development

Spread out across 10 acres in the middle of Washington’s urban Mount Vernon Triangle is CityCenterDC, a mixed-use residential community and upscale shopping mall. The Residences at City Center are the condominium component, with 216 luxury condos split between two sleek towers. The development also includes apartment rentals, office buildings, a hotel, a 1.5 acre park, and more than 40 shops and restaurants.

New to the resale market in July is Unit #1009 with an asking price of $1,575,000. The two-bedroom, two-bath corner apartment with a 1,452 square foot layout is exceptionally open and bright, with floods of natural light bathing the pale hardwood floors. The main living, dining, and cooking area is completely open, bracketed by huge window walls. The bedrooms are quite large, there’s tons of closet space, and an extended balcony is the perfect place for 10th floor cityscape views.

Still available after a huge $500K price reduction last month is Unit #901/902. This supersized residence priced at $5,495,000 is the result of two condos being combined into one, with four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and 2,816 square feet of airy living space. There is also an office, a large terrace with putting green, an additional extended balcony, and a temperature controlled private wine cellar than can store 2,300 bottles.

Unit #702 has been on the market since May of last year and remains available for $1,425,000. The 1,340 square foot flat has two bedrooms, two baths, and a private balcony. Other features include nine-foot ceilings, a large and open main living, dining and cooking area, and nine-foot high ceilings, bleached wide-plank floors, and a glossy white kitchen along one wall.

Offered at $849,000, Unit #404 is a one-bedroom, 1.5-bath apartment with a 1,003 square foot layout that is described as the building’s largest one-bedroom floorplan. The spacious main living area boasts a huge window wall and an open gourmet kitchen that tucks unobtrusively into the corner. The oversized bedroom suite includes a work desk area and a walk-in closet.

Unit #703 is a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment with 882 square feet of space that is priced at $799,000. Wide-plank Northern White Oak floors run throughout, and an enormous window wall offers sweeping city views. The Foster + Partners designed open cook space features Bosch appliances, Molteni cabinetry, and white stone counters.

Unit #813 is still up for grabs at $749,000. The one-bedroom, 1.5 bath condo with 940 sq. ft. of living space enjoys tons of natural light from its massive windows. Custom wall treatments add to the allure, along with a large foyer, a desk nook, a gourmet kitchen with white Caesarstone counters, and an east-facing bedroom with custom closet organizers.

Unit #905 remains active at $699,950. With interior design updates from Ernesto Santalla, the one-bedroom, 1.5-bath flat offers a stylish 766 square foot layout. Details include designer wall treatments, custom silk drapes, a dedicated office area, an extended private balcony, wide-plank flooring, and a Euro-style modern kitchen.

Competitively priced at $620,000, Unit #1010 is a one-bedroom, one-bath flat with 635 square feet of sunny living space. The linear open design features floor-to-ceiling sliding doors out to the balcony. The gourmet kitchen has panelized appliances, and the bedroom suite has custom closet systems. One garage parking space conveys.

Unit #709 went into Active Under Contract status in July, meaning that is pending with contingencies. The one-bedroom, one-bath flat with a 761 square foot floorplan had been listed at $690,000. The south-facing apartment with a large, private terrace has European white oak floors and a Foster + Partners kitchen with top of the line appliances.

Unit #911 is due to close in August. The two-bedroom, 2.5 bath apartment with 1,452 square feet of living space had been listed at $1,489,999. Features include pale oak floors, stylish full-height built-ins, giant wraparound windows, a modern Euro-style kitchen that fits along one wall, and a long balcony that is perfect for drinks or coffee.

Unit #801 closed in July at its full asking price of $875,000. The sun-drenched one-bedroom, one-bath flat with its roomy 981 square foot floorplan boasts three exposures, allowing tons of natural light to pour through the floor-to-ceiling windows. And if all that sun gets a little too bright, you can simply adjust the blinds.

Unit #611 also sold in July. The 1,452 square foot condo listed in June for $1,550,000, quickly received an accepted offer, and closed for a solid $1,525,000. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath corner residence has floor-to-ceiling windows, wide-plank floors, two separate balconies, extra storage, and two reserved parking spaces, one of which has a Tesla charger.

Residents at CityCenterDC enjoy staffed lobbies in each of the two buildings, along with front desks, concierge service, and doormen. Other amenities include two roof parks, terraced courtyards, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a yoga studio, wine storage, a bar lounge, community rooms, business/work centers, and a rooftop water feature.
