Overlooking the Potomac River in Arlington’s Rosslyn waterfront, Turnberry Tower offers spacious residences and a superb array of full service amenities. Designed by Robert Swedroe and completed in 2009, the sleek tower remains the tallest residential building in the region. The views are unbeatable, and the location also matters, close to the Key Bridge as well as the Rosslyn Metro. New to the market in April is Unit #702 with an asking price of $1,799,000. There were multiple price reductions in April beginning with Unit #TS02. This spectacular Tower Suite penthouse now has a significant markdown, from $3,500,000 to $3,350,000. Features include three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a private elevator, soaring ceilings, and lovely hardwood floors. The 3,100 square feet of living space is complemented by custom wall finishes, a stunning gourmet kitchen, a sweeping terrace, and a primary suite with a marble fireplace, dressing room, and ensuite marble bath. One condo at Turnberry Tower went into pending status in April. Unit #1606 entered the marketplace in April with an asking price of $1,175,000, receiving an accepted offer in just 10 days’ time. The one-bedroom, two-bath condo has a bonus den/office with a Murphy bed, porcelain tile floors, marble baths, a modern white-on-white ambience, and a sweeping balcony.

There were multiple closings in April beginning with Unit #1910. This 2,267 square foot residence listed in March at $2,295,000, receiving an accepted in offer in just eight days. The final sales price for the two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment was $2,425,000. That’s $130,000 over asking! Hardwood floors, a private elevator, an exceptional kitchen, and views of the river from the curved terrace add to the appeal.

Unit #1911 sold for $2,650,000 after listing for $2,700,000. The two-bedroom, 3.5-bath apartment with its 3,050 square foot layout enjoys a direct access elevator, a large foyer, and a huge open living and dining area with wraparound windows and spectacular views of the river. There are Italian travertine tile floors, Luton shades, custom wall treatments, and a sweeping balcony overlooking the river.

The final closing was Unit #1908, selling for $1,750,000 after listing for $1,790,000. The two-bedroom condo with 2.5 baths features a private elevator, beautiful Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, and a 400 square foot balcony spanning the entire unit. The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s delight with Snaidero cabinetry, and panelized Viking, SubZero, and Miele appliances. Two parking spots were included.
