With 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, it closed on July 3rd at $4,100,000. At The Ritz-Carlton’s West End property, unit S3A in the south building sold for $1,800,000. This 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath penthouse boasts a corner wall of windows, library, 2 balconies and 2-car parking. In Capitol Hill, unit 2A at Landmark Lofts came with Wolf/Sub-zero appliances, Italian honed granite countertops, Waterworks bath fixtures, hardwood and tile floors, plus two roof terraces, 2-car parking and additional storage. The closing price was $1,355,000!

The Watergate Sold The Most Units…Again

A sprawling complex of buildings in Foggy Bottom, The Watergate has 630 luxury condo and penthouse properties. You can expect it will frequently take top position in any given month. In July The Watergate took top position with 4 units sold, the same number as last month. Sharing the second spot with 3 units sold were U Street’s The Floridian and The Lafayette in Penn Quarter.

Once Again, The Listing Price is Below the Closing Price…

The Wyoming in Kalorama is one of my picks for The Most Grande in the DC luxury condo market. Apparently the buyers who purchased unit 604 in July agreed, paying $311,500 for a 1-bedroom, 1 bath condo listed for $299,000. Other above-list sales took place at Metropole in Logan Circle, Lott 33 in Adams Morgan and Gallery Place in Chinatown.
