Market Leaders | Most Units Sold | January 2019

The Artisan in Penn Quarter rang in the new year with three sales in January. The elegant 12-story mixed-use building features restaurants and retail at the ground level with 160 modern living spaces above. There were seven addresses tied for second place. Notably, 2101 Connecticut in the affluent Kalorama neighborhood, had its first sales since July 2017. Unit #26 with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 2,900 square feet of living space sold for $1,850,000 while Unit #4 with the same number of rooms and 2,800 square feet of space, closed for $1,450,000.

Other buildings with two sales each include 555 Mass in Mt. Vernon Triangle, The Atrium in Arlington, Chase Point in Friendship Heights, Hampden Row in Bethesda, Madrigal Lofts in Mt. Vernon Triangle and Turnberry Tower in Arlington’s Rosslyn waterfront neighborhood. There were also seven buildings with one sale each. Those are 2020 Lofts in the trendy U Street Corridor, 3303 Water Street in Georgetown, the Residences at CityCenterDC in Mt. Vernon, Dumbarton Place in Dupont Circle, Jefferson Row which is also in Dupont Circle and Kalorama Lofts with its modern metal-clad façade in Adams Morgan.
