Turnberry Tower in the Rosslyn waterfront neighborhood continued leading the way in condo sales with five closings in April after notching six in March. The curvilinear 26-story glass and steel tower was designed by ACG Architecture and is the tallest residential building in DC Metro. Spectacular views of the Potomac River combine with luxury amenities such as an indoor heated pool, screening room with kitchen, fitness center, front desk, concierge and valet. Notable sales include Unit #PH10, a fabulous penthouse with private elevator and superb river views that sold at full price for $2,350,000. This closing also tied for first place in April’s highest priced sales.

City Vista in the Mount Vernon Triangle had four sales for the month. The perennially popular condominium community boasts three residential towers, with terrific roof decks, swimming pool, a private one-acre park, a Safeway and Ray’s Hell Burger. Two of the four sales were above list and two were at full price. Among these were Units #304 and 421 with a tie for the third highest list-to-sales ratio for the month, offered at $605,000 and closing at $616,000 or 101.82% of list. Union Row in the U Street Corridor also had four sales in April, duplicating its March sales output. The trendy development is comprised of two buildings; the Warehouses and the Flats. Notably, Unit #904, a 2-bedroom, 2-bath penthouse, closed at its full price of $1,089,000.

There were no fewer than six buildings with two closings each! This list includes 555 Mass in the Mount Vernon Triangle, The Columbia in the West End, The Odyssey in Arlington, The Whitman in Mount Vernon Triangle, Westlight in the West End and The Montrose in Georgetown. Notably, Units #307 which sold for $2,350,000 and #102 which sold for $1,190,000, were the first closings at the historic Montrose since December of 2017. Additionally, Unit #307 tied for first place in the highest priced sales for April.

Luxury buildings with one closing each include Adams Row in Adams Morgan, Delancey Lofts in Adams Morgan, Dumbarton Place in Dupont Circle and Shoreham West in Woodley Park. Unit #712 at Shoreham West was that building’s first sale since December of 2017, The 2,000 square foot cooperative was also the fifth highest sale in April at $1,200,000.
