There is a tie for the highest condo sales prices in April but we’ll give the nod to Unit #PH10 at Turnberry Tower in Rosslyn, as it closed at its full asking price of $2,350,000 and was only listed on the market for one day! The 2,267 square foot penthouse with 2-bedrooms and 2.5-baths comes with all the luxury trimmings, including a private elevator, new wide-plank floors throughout, an open gourmet kitchen and a sweeping balcony with views right up the Potomac River.
Also selling for $2,350,000 (after listing for $2,450,000) was Unit #307 at The Montrose in Georgetown. The 2,495 square foot duplex has 3-bedrooms, 3.5-baths, an office, an additional library and a private rooftop deck with treetop views of Georgetown. Coming in third is Unit #1506 at The Odyssey in Arlington’s trendy Courthouse neighborhood. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment sold for $1,550,000, and has engineered hardwood floors, a den, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Bosch and Miele appliances and a 25-foot balcony. Fourth place belongs to Unit #32 at Dumbarton Place in Dupont Circle with a $1,290,000 closing figure. The contemporary condo offers 2-bedrooms, 2.5-baths and 1,534 square feet of open, airy living space illuminated by tons of natural light from giant floor-to-ceiling windows.
Those interested in the Dupont Circle neighborhood might also wish to visit Jeff Wilson’s new community site, Live in Dupont. In fifth place is Unit #712 at Shoreham West in Woodley Park. The 2,000 square foot cooperative sold for $1,200,000. This was the building’s first sale since December of 2017. In sixth place is Unit #904 at Union Row in the U Street Corridor. Closing at $1,089,000, the 2-bedroom, 2-bath penthouse has 1,169 square feet of living space and is located on vibrant 14th Street, an area that has seen a highly successful revitalization effort over the past two decades.
