Ritz-Carlton West End | Market Pulse | April 2020

Those seeking a pampered residential lifestyle experience will certainly find the Residences at Ritz-Carlton West End an intriguing option. Located in Washington’s popular West End neighborhood, two luxury condo towers flank a Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The result is a combination of full service hotel-style amenities, street level businesses and well-appointed condominium residences with spacious floor plans and stylish designs.

There was only one new listing in April at the Ritz-Carlton West End, and it’s already under contract! Unit #PH1L is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath penthouse level apartment with 1,324 square feet of living space. The asking price was $1,099,000. Brazilian herringbone floors run throughout the unit. Features include a gourmet kitchen with upscale appliances, a spacious master suite with en-suite bath and a private balcony with access points in the living area and the master bedroom.

Still available after coming to market in March, is Unit #PH2C. Listed at $2,450,000, the beautifully renovated penthouse has 2-bedrooms, a family room that can be converted back to its original purpose as a third bedroom, plus 3-baths. With 2,457 square feet of living space, this luxurious residence has two levels of living space, a lovely marble fireplace and three private terraces including a stunning rooftop deck. Also notable are the white oak hardwood floors and a renovated kitchen with quartz waterfall counters, a Waterworks backsplash, Wolfe range and Sub-Zero glass front fridge.

Unit #PH1G is active again. The renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath penthouse has 1,147 square feet of space and is priced at $1,085,000. It’s one of only four residences on its floor, and has been opened up for a more spacious layout. There have also been some notable upgrades, including a renovated gourmet kitchen with upscale stainless steel appliances, new hardwood floors and recessed lighting. Includes a nice-sized private balcony and one parking space in the garage.

Also available is Unit #8J. The competitively priced opportunity at the Ritz-Carlton West End is listed at $679,000. With 771 square feet of space, the charming 1-bedroom, 1-bath flat has new wide-plank floors, a gourmet kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, an in-unit washer and dryer, private parking and south facing views of the courtyard.

Unit #PH1F has been temporarily taken off the market. The 1-bedroom, 2-bath penthouse with 978 square feet of living space had been listed at $879,000. An extended foyer leads into a large open living area lined with massive floor-to-ceiling windows. Blonde strip hardwoods run throughout the unit, while an open gourmet kitchen features black granite counters and upscale stainless steel appliances.

There were no closings in April. In addition to the above-mentioned Unit #PH1L, there is one other current condo pending. Unit #8G has 2-bedrooms, 2-baths and 1,147 square feet of space. The renovated apartment was listed at $1,099,00.

Condominium owners at the Ritz-Carlton West End have the option of enjoying the same full service amenities as do overnight guests at the hotel. That includes room service, housekeeping and even private chefs! Also included is a heated indoor swimming pool, priority access to Equinox Sports Club and a lovely central courtyard with its own large waterfall. Among the street level businesses in the complex is CVS, Soul Cycle and Sweet Green. Additionally, Landmark’s West End Cinema and restaurants like Blue Duck Tavern, Rasika and Café Deluxe are just steps away.
