The winner of the highest-priced sales contest for March is Unit #7B at the legendary Wardman Tower in Woodley Park. The three-bedroom residence sold for $4,500,000 and has 4,506 square feet of exquisite living space. Features include a gallery, huge living room, formal dining room, library/family room, showcase kitchen, and an incredible owners’ suite with not one but two ensuite baths with wall-to-wall marble. Unit #73 at the highly modern Westlight in the West End neighborhood had the second-highest sale and the third-highest price per square foot. The 2,857 sq. ft. flat with three bedrooms and 3.5 baths, sold for $3,995,000 ($1,398.32 per sq. ft.). The apartment is a study in minimalist luxury, with massive window walls, and a stunning white-on-white kitchen with all appliances seamlessly recessed into cubist cabinetry.

Third place goes to Unit #3J at 3303 Water Street in Georgetown. The $3,350,000 closing also translates to second place in the price per size category, at $1,519.96 per square foot. The two-story residence with two bedrooms, a den. 2.5 baths and a private terrace was impeccably renovated by Taylor Deering of Spaced Out Design, with stunning wall treatments by Phillip Jeffries and Hermes. Unit #2311 at Turnberry Tower in Rosslyn nabs fourth place with its $3,175,00 sales price. The remodeled penthouse offers three bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a 3,300 square foot layout. The views of the Potomac River from the sweeping balcony are magnificent, while the corner owners’ suite with its’ marble spa bath and giant dressing room, also impresses.

Fifth place goes to Unit #609 at VIO, at District Wharf in the Southwest Waterfront. The three-bedroom, 2.5-bath flat with 1,985 square feet of luxurious living space overlooks the Washington Channel, and sold for $3,150,000, while also nabbing top honors in the price per square foot category at $1,586.90. The sixth-highest sales price was also the fourth-highest price per square foot; $3,140,000 and $1,371.78 respectively for Unit #2401 at the brand-new Pierce condominium in Rosslyn, with two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 2,289 square feet of living space.
