City Center - Washington DC's Hottest New Development

Described as a “modern-day Rockefeller Center” in the New York Times, CityCenterDC is actually located in Washington, DC’s downtown Mount Vernon Triangle. Covering 10 acres where the Convention Center once stood, the luxe mixed-use community includes condos, apartments, offices, hotels, boutique retailers, restaurants, and a 1.5 acre park.

There were multiple new listings in April. Unit #1004 is offered at $1,099,000. The meticulously maintained two-bedroom, two-bath condo is south facing with giant windows and white oak floors. An extended private balcony is ideal for coffee, drinks or meals. The primary suite enjoys a huge corner closet system and dressing area, plus an ensuite bath with twin-sink vanity.

Unit #416 is similarly offered at $1,099,000 with two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1,142 square foot layout. The condo is nicely positioned, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a long and tranquil courtyard. Molteni cabinetry, Bosch, Thermador and Miele appliances, plus custom wall treatments and televisions in each of the two full baths, add to the allure.

Unit #803 listed at $750,000 in April, with one bedroom, one bath and a very roomy 800 square foot design that emphasizes open spaces. The extra-wide oak flooring was replaced in 2020, and a fun balcony overlooks CityCenter shops and restaurants. Other features include a built-in desk, a washer and dryer, parking, and a terrific gourmet kitchen with stunning Corian counters.

Unit #911 came to market in March and remains active at $1,695,000. With two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, two private balconies, two garage parking spaces and 1,452 square feet of living space, the corner apartment is filled with light from giant wraparound windows. Huge open areas lend to the airy ambience.

Unit #609 also listed in March in is still available at $1,090,000. Two bedrooms, two baths and 1,148 square feet of living space are on tap, with lovely views overlooking a courtyard. The two bedroom suites are positioned at opposite ends with the living area in-between.

Listed at $990,000, Unit #516 overlooks greenery and private garden terraces. The 1,100 square foot residence has two owner suites with attached baths, an open living, dining and cooking area, plus an additional powder room.

Unit #813 is priced at $835,000, and comes with one bedroom, one bath and 940 square feet of interior space. Notables include huge windows that allow lots of natural light into the living areas, as well as a built-in home office, wide-plank floors, and storage galore including oversized closets and a custom shoe organizer.

Still available after listing in February, Unit #601 had a price drop last month, to $859.000. The one-bedroom, one-bath flat has 800 square feet of living space, European Northern White Oak floors, and sunny exposures on three sides.

Unit #604 listed in April, and already has a significant price decrease, from $749,000 down to $712,000. The sunny one-bedroom, 1.5-bath residence has over $25,000 in upgrades, including a beautiful, coffered ceiling in the main living area, an elongated fireplace features, new quartz counters and kitchen island, and new glass shower doors and vanity in the full bath.

Unit #404 also has a fresh price cut, from $949,000 down to $899,900. The 1,003 square foot apartment has one bedroom and 1.5 baths but is larger than some two-bedroom floorplans in the same building. The gourmet kitchen features walnut Molteni cabinetry, with Miele, Thermador and Bosch appliances.

Unit #506 has been newly reduced from $925,000 down to $895,000. The attractive two-bedroom, two-bath flat has a 1,033 square foot layout, as well as an extended balcony that is great for enjoying coffee, drinks or meals. The open design merges living, dining and cooking into a sunny and linear space.

Unit #408 is now in Active Under Contract status, meaning that it is pending with contingencies. Listed at $799,999, the two-bedroom, two-bath apartment has an open gourmet kitchen with top-end appliances, pristine wood floors, and sliders that open to a long private balcony at multiple access points.

Unit #402 remains pending and is due to close in June. Listed at $1,335,000, the 1,340 square-foot residence with two bedrooms and two baths, also features a large private balcony. Giant windows allow natural light to fill the open living, dining and cooking area.

There were multiple closings in April, including Unit #810. The spectacular two-bedroom, 2.5-bath corner apartment sold for $2,325,000 after listing for $2,399,000. The residence with its 1,378 square foot floor plan also has an incredible 1,000 sq. ft. private sky terrace with landscaping.

Unit #509 closed at $955,000. Originally offered for $985,000, the airy apartment has two beds and two baths, positioned at opposite ends of the 1,148 square foot layout for maximum privacy. Sliding doors lead out to a lush fifth floor courtyard.

Unit #709 sold for $680,000 after listing for $699,000. The rarely available south facing one-bedroom residence features an expansive balcony, hardwood floors, a built-in office area, and a split bath that features a powder room for guests, with separate shower and sink adjacent to the bedroom.

Condominium residents at CityCenter enjoy lots of amenities, including a front desk with concierge and porters, a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, party rooms, an executive business center, and a bar lounge. A spectacular roof deck features a serene water feature. The mixed-use community is just steps from downtown landmarks, museums, entertainment, Chinatown, and the Mt.
