The Waterview is aptly named, perched near the banks of the Potomac River. The condominium residences are at the upper floors of the sleek Le Meridien Hotel, with an adjoining 23-story office tower. In addition to the excellent location in Arlington’s Rosslyn neighborhood, condo owners enjoy full-service luxury amenities such as room service from the hotel’s popular restaurant, Amuse.

Given the low number of active availabilities, we’re including a new May listing, Unit #1804. The one-bedroom, one-bath flat has 570 square feet of living space and is priced at $535,000. An open, linear floorplan places the living area and gourmet kitchen together with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and espresso-toned cabinetry set into one wall. The 1,232 square foot apartment closed the same month that it hit the market, at $886,000. Unit #2005 listed in March for $499,500 and received an accepted offer 10 days later. The cute 660 square foot apartment with one bedroom and one bath ultimately closed at $485,000. Among the features are blonde wide-plank floors throughout, and oversized windows that allow an abundance of natural light inside. An open gourmet kitchen features red-toned cabinets, black granite counters and upscale stainless steel appliances.

Those living at The Waterview enjoy a host of full service amenities, including maid cleaning and meal service from the hotel restaurant. There’s also a wonderful residents-only observation deck, a state-of-the-art fitness center, staffed front desk and concierge, a community room and secure parking. Known as the Gateway to Arlington, the Rosslyn waterfront has changed considerably since its early days as a rowdy ferry boat landing with saloons and gambling halls. Today, it is the first of five trendy urban villages along the Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor, each with its own Metrorail station.
