City Center - Washington DC's Hottest New Development

Spanning 10 acres in Washington’s downtown Mount Vernon Triangle, the splendidly curated CityCenterDC includes condominiums, apartments, hotels, offices, shops, restaurants, and even a 1.5-acre park. One of the largest and most luxurious mixed-use communities in the nation, it has been compared by the NY Times to a modern-day Rockefeller Plaza.

There are plenty of availabilities at CityCenterDC, including multiple new listings. It starts with Unit #510, a two-bedroom, two-bath corner residence priced at $1,499,000. The main living area is completely open with a Euro-style kitchen set into one wall, and massive wraparound windows offering views of Chinatown’s Friendship Arch. Two balconies and two parking spaces add to the appeal.

Unit #1008 came to market in June with an asking price of $1,400,000. The 1,423 square-foot residence has two bedrooms and 2.5 baths, including a large primary suite with office nook, walk-in closet, and ensuite bath with twin sinks. A spacious private balcony is just the place to enjoy meals prepared in the Foster + Partners designed gourmet kitchen.

New in June, Unit #710 is listed at $1,095,000. The two-bedroom, two-bath flat has 1,124 square feet of modern living space with wide-plank pale oak floors. The open living area has sunny exposures on two sides, custom wall treatments, and a glossy white kitchen along one wall. The large bedroom suite has a unique sitting bay with window. Other perks include a balcony, parking, and in-unit laundry.

Offered at $1,575,000, Unit #911 first came to market in March and still awaits its new owner. The 1,452 square foot apartment has two bedrooms on opposite ends, 2.5 baths, and two separate balconies. The main living area has giant window walls, as well as a rebuilt corner work-from-home space with its own window. Two parking spaces convey.

Unit #702 listed in May for $1,495,000 and remains available. The 1,340 square foot corner unit has two separate bedroom suites, bleached hardwood floors, an open glossy white gourmet kitchen, massive window walls wrapping around the sides, and an extended balcony.

Still active after listing last month is Unit #507. The one-bedroom, one-bath apartment with 724 square feet of living space is priced at $725,000. The leafy courtyard views are superb, and the Foster + Partners designed kitchen is a joy to cook in. A washer and dryer are included.

Unit #812 listed in May for the competitive price of $660,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath apartment has 635 square feet of living space. The turn-key flat has a private balcony with city views, and a gorgeous kitchen with Molteni cabinetry and panelized Bosch, Liebherr, and Miele appliances.

Freshly reduced to $699,950 from its original price of $712,000, Unit #604 is a spacious one-bedroom flat with 830 square feet of space and 1.5 baths. The residence has over $25,000 in recent upgrades, with a coffered ceiling, electric fireplace, new quartz counters and kitchen island, and a desk cubby.

Unit #506 went under contract in June. The two-bedroom, two-bath apartment with 1,033 square feet of living space had been priced at $850,000. Features include wide-plank flooring, a private balcony, and an open kitchen with appliances recessed into Moltini wood grain cabinetry.

Unit #406 listed in May for $815,000 and received an accepted offer in June. The 961 square foot flat has two bedrooms, two baths, and a balcony spanning the entire unit. A glossy white kitchen with panelized upscale appliances, built-ins in the guest bedroom, and a large primary suite, add to the appeal.

Also now pending is Unit #1004. With two bedrooms, two baths and a 1,202 square foot layout, the sunny south facing apartment had been listed at $1,099,000. Floor-to-ceiling windows, an open space design, and an extended private balcony are featured.

There were several sales in June, starting with Unit #402. The 1,340 square foot residence with two bedrooms and two baths had been listed at $1,335,000 before closing at $1,280,000. Giant windows allow natural light to fill the open living, dining, and cooking area. There’s also a large private balcony.

Unit #416 sold for $1,045,000 after being offered for $1,079,900. The renovated two-bedroom apartment with 2.5 baths and 1,142 square feet of living space has white oak flooring, custom wall treatments, and leafy views.

Unit #609 closed at a cool $1 million after listing for $1,090,000. The two-bedroom, two-bath residence enjoys 1,148 square feet of living space and lovely views of an interior courtyard. The two bedroom suites are positioned at opposite ends with the living area in-between.

The final sale is Unit #516, a 1,100 square foot residence with two owner suites and 2.5 baths. The closing price was $979,381 compared to the original amount of $990,000. Giant wraparound window walls overlook greenery and garden terraces.

Residents at CityCenterDC enjoy the pampered life in a prime location. Amenities include a 24/7 front desk with concierge and porters, a very impressive fitness center and yoga studio, party rooms, an executive business center, and a bar lounge.
