Four of the six highest sales in June are in Washington’s West End neighborhood, starting with Unit #9G at the 22 West building. The two-level penthouse with 3,269 square feet of living space sold for $4,001,000 and was also the second highest price per square foot at $1,102.51. A redesign by ADD 100’s William Hodgins resulted in an airy white ambience with an open Euro-style kitchen that blends seamlessly into the walls. Four parking spaces are also included. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence has a large open living, dining, and cooking area, as well as a separate family room, a very spacious private roof deck, and a secondary balcony. Fourth place goes to Unit #85 at Westlight in the West End. The two-bedroom, two-bath flat with a den sold for $2,100,000. Also selling for $1.8 million is Unit #942, a spectacular two-story penthouse at The Columbia Residences in the West End. The 2,062 square foot residence with two bedrooms and two baths, has an upstairs bonus room with a wet bar, leading out to a private roof deck.
