Unit #3D at 22 West in Washington’s West End neighborhood took home top honors in the list to sale ratio in September. The 1,967 square foot apartment with two bedrooms, a den and three full baths also captured the highest overall sales price for a condo or co-op, as well as the second highest price per square foot, closing at $2,099,999 for 100 percent of asking and $1,067.62 per square foot. The corner condo has huge window walls that come together at a point, providing an incredible city view. There were three other closings at full price in September, starting with Unit #205 at The Columbia in the West End. The two-bedroom, two-bath residence at the historic former women’s hospital listed in August at $1,050,000 and went under agreement just three days later. The fast contract and prompt closing for the west-facing unit with a private balcony is indicative of the popularity of this luxury community with its own on-site Trader Joe’s.

Unit #606 at The Weslie in Arlington nabs third place in list to sales, along with the second highest overall sale and third highest in the size category. The three-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment with 2,024 sq. ft. of living space and glorious views of the Potomac River, sold for 100 percent of its $1,960,000 asking price, and $968.38 per square foot. Unit #1908 at Verse sold for $629,000. That’s a full priced closing for the one-bedroom, one-bath flat with 761 square feet of living space, wide plank floors, and a Euro-style gourmet kitchen that fits neatly along one wall. Verse is part of the new mixed-use Boro community in a fast-growing area that bridges the McLean and Tysons neighborhoods.

Fifth place goes to Unit #210 at the historic Yale Steam Laundry in Mount Vernon Triangle. The 738 square foot condo with one bedroom, one bath, huge factory style windows and an open modern kitchen sold for $475,000 or 99.98 percent of the asking price. Closing out the list is Unit #407 at Delancey Lofts in the Adams Morgan neighborhood.
