Taking top honors in the highest sales price category for December is Unit #106 at Washington Harbour in Georgetown. The 4,200 square foot residence in one of Washington’s premiere addresses sold for $4,025,000. It has also the sixth highest price per square foot at $958.33. Luxury abounds in this exquisite penthouse with its travertine floors, circular foyer, and over $3 million in updates. There are two bedrooms, a massive living room, dining room, lovely country kitchen, an incredible owners’ suite with separate study, and a showstopping private terrace offering nearly 1,000 sq. ft. of outdoor space including pergola, brick arbor, built-in kitchen, and incredible views of the Potomac River. Second place goes to Unit #502 at The Watergate in Foggy Bottom. The fourth highest sales price belongs to Unit #1101 at the brand new Pierce condominium in Rosslyn. The 2,411 square foot luxe flat with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths sold for $2,374,500; it was also the fifth highest price per square foot at $984.86. The 27-story Pierce building with its resort-style amenities is in the final stages of completion and is part of a larger mixed-use community development known as The Highlands.

Taking fifth place honors is Unit #508 at 1745 N in Dupont Circle. The 2,449 square foot penthouse with three bedrooms and 3.5 baths is part of Historic Row, a development combining old historic rowhouses and new building additions. The residence sold for $2,275,000. Closing out the list is Unit #522 at The Signet in McLean. The bright and airy three-bedroom, three-bath condo with 2,281 square feet of living space sold for $1,750,000.
