Still the tallest residential building in the Washington Metro region and ideally located by the waterfront, Turnberry Tower is a perennial favorite for upscale condo shoppers. This Rosslyn neighborhood mainstay was designed by Robert Swerdroe, offering lap-of-luxury amenities and spectacular views of the Potomac River. There weren’t any new listings in February bit there are still some very attractive availabilities from prior months.

Starting with the most expensive current listing, Unit #1911 remains up for grabs at $3,500,000. The 3,278 square foot sky home has two bedrooms, a den, and 3.5 baths. Walls of massive wraparound windows, as well as an equally expansive private, provide the most stunning vistas of the river, Key Bridge, and Georgetown. The luxe apartment also features a private elevator, wooden wall treatments, and a kitchen fit for any chef. Two parking spaces and a separate storage are included.

Unit #1109 remains available for $1,175,000, The one-bedroom condo also has a large den that can used for extra sleeping quarters or as a great work from home space. There are two full baths, marble tile floors, an open gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances recessed into Snaidero cabinetry, and direct elevator access. An extended balcony offers peeks of the Potomac River. Other features include Schonbek chandeliers with Swarovski crystals, and Lutron full home automation including shades.

Also still active is Unit #907 with an asking price of $955,000. The B-Model floorplan includes one bedroom, a bonus den/study, two full baths, and 1,405 square feet of living space. Unit #1603 went into A/C status in February. Active Under Contract is a another term for pending with contingencies, meaning that it can potentially be shown for backup offers. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo with 1,803 square feet of airy living space had been listed at $1,695,000. Perks include a private elevator, dramatic ceilings, full height built-ins, and huge floor-to ceiling windows. Of note is the owners’ suite with its custom pocket doors, dual walk-in closets, spa bathroom, and tiled balcony.

Also now in A/C status is Unit #1701. The 1,754 square foot flat had been priced at $1.5 million before going under contract. The two-bedroom, two-bath layout includes a private elevator, nine-foot ceilings, and a long curved balcony offering cityscape views. The expansive primary suite features a sitting area just right for working from home, spacious custom closets, and an ensuite marble bath with a hotel style vanity mirror TV.

There were no closings in February.

Those fortunate enough to reside at Turnberry Tower enjoy and extensive menu of amenities, with a staffed front desk, concierge service, complimentary valet parking, a heated indoor swimming pool, a lounge with bar and billiards, a media room with catering kitchen, and secure parking.
