City Center - Washington DC's Hottest New Development

With approximately 216 luxury condos in two towers, City Center DC is the ultimate urban environment. Located in Washington, DC’s Mount Vernon, the 10-acre mixed-use community is also home to offices, hotels, over 40 boutique retailers, and a 1.5-acre park. The upscale outdoor mall is ideally located in the downtown area, next-door to Chinatown, and less than a mile from the White House.

There were several new listings in March beginning with Unit #603. The one-bedroom, one-bath apartment with 858 square feet of living space is priced at $735,000. A bright and open layout includes a designer kitchen with Molteni cabinetry and upscale appliances, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows that open from the living area to a large balcony with city views.

Unit #404 in the H Street tower listed in March for $849,000. The 1,003 square foot residence has one bedroom and 1.5 baths and is the largest one-bedroom floorplan at City Center DC. The oversized bedroom suite includes a work desk area and a walk-in closet. The stylish kitchen tucks unobtrusively into a corner, preserving floorspace in the airy and open living area with its wall of windows.

Also entering the marketplace in March was Unit #1010 with a competitive asking price of $647,000. The 635 square foot flat with one bedroom and one bath has a linear open design with floor-to-ceiling sliders leading out to the balcony. The gourmet kitchen has panelized appliances, and the bedroom suite has custom closet systems. One garage parking space conveys.

Unit #404 in the I Street Tower came to market in for $765,000. The very modern white-on-white apartment with one bedroom and 1.5 bath has 830 square feet of living space and wide-plank white oak floors. The glossy white Euro-style kitchen with panelized appliances, and a desk cubby with overhead cabinets, fit along one wall. There is also a Juliet balcony, parking, and extra storage.

The highest priced listing at City Center DC is Unit #705. Offered at $2,349,000, this lovely and very sunny two-bedroom residence has 2.5 baths and a 1,423 square foot layout. Wide plank floors and an open gourmet kitchen add to the appeal, along with an extraordinary private terraced deck with wooden flooring and lovely landscaping. Two garage parking spaces are included.

Still active is Unit #703 with an asking price of $799,000. The spacious one-bedroom, one-bath apartment has an 882-square foot layout with wide-plank Northern White Oak floors throughout, and massive windows offering sweeping city views. The open gourmet kitchen features Bosch appliances, Molteni cabinetry, and white Caesarstone counters.

Listed at $749,000, Unit #813 has one bedroom, one bath, and a 940 square foot floorplan that is drenched with natural light from the huge, full-height windows. Custom wall treatments, an east-facing bedroom, tons of closet space with organizers, and a lovely gourmet kitchen add to the appeal.

Still available for $750,000, Unit #908 in the I Street tower is one-bedroom, 1.5-bath flat with a linear design and 860 square feet of living space. A sleek and modern gourmet kitchen features Molteni cabinetry, panelized appliances, and white quartz counters. There’s a cozy and very useable desk nook next to the kitchen, and a very roomy bedroom with a sitting area.

Unit #908 in the H Street tower came to market in March and went into Active under Contract status two weeks later. That means that the condo is pending with contingencies. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence was renovated in 2021 by award winning architect Ernesto Santalla, and enjoys corner window exposures, custom built-ins, and an extended balcony. It had been listed at $1,550,000.

Also pending with contingencies is March is Unit #501, a one-bedroom, one-bath flat listed at $785,000. The 981 square foot corner layout features giant windows throughout the residence, including along the front hallway, the dining area, and the open living room. White oak floors, leafy views of the courtyard, and a wall of custom built-ins add to the appeal.

There were no closings in March at City Center DC.

Unit #502 has now gone into expired status. The large corner residence with 1,340 square feet of living space had been listed at $1,425,000. The apartment has two separate bedroom suites, custom closet organizers, track lighting, an extended balcony, a washer and dryer, and two reserved parking spaces.

Those fortunate enough to live at City Center DC enjoy numerous in-house amenities, such as a staffed front desk, concierge, and porters. Fitness routines are encouraged with a state-of-the-art gym and yoga studio. Other features include community rooms, an executive business center, a bar lounge, and a roof deck with a large water feature.
