City Center - Washington DC's Hottest New Development

Occupying 10 acres in the Mount Vernon Triangle area, this vibrant mixed-use oasis offers virtually everything one needs for a modern luxury lifestyle, including two 11-story condo towers known as The Residences at CityCenterDC. The community also includes a hotel, upscale rental apartments, offices, over 40 boutique retailers and restaurants, and a 1.5 acre park. The outdoor mall setting is a favorite place to visit, shop, and live.

New to the market in April is a stunning four-bedroom showstopper with 3.5 baths that is the result of combining two apartments into one. Listed at $5,995,000, Unit #901/902 offers 2,816 square feet of airy living space, along with an office, a 375 square foot terrace with putting green, an additional balcony that spans the entire length of the residence, and a temperature controlled private wine cellar than can store 2,300 bottles.

Also new in April is Unit #905 with an asking price of $699,950. Unit #1010 is still available after listing in March for $647,000. Still active is Unit #703 with an asking price of $799,000. The attractive one-bedroom, one-bath apartment has an 882-square foot layout with wide-plank Northern White Oak floors throughout, and massive windows offering sweeping city views. The open gourmet kitchen features Bosch appliances, Molteni cabinetry, and white Caesarstone counters.

Unit #813 is another listing from March that remains available. Offered at $749,000, the one-bedroom, one-bath residence has a very roomy 940 square foot layout that is drenched with natural light from the huge, full-height windows. There was one price reduction in April. Unit #908 in the I Street tower has a $5,000 cut from $750,000 to $745,000. The one bedroom, 1.5-bath flat has 860 square feet of living space and lots of light from full height windows. A sleek and modern gourmet kitchen features Molteni cabinetry, panelized appliances, and white quartz counters.

Unit #603 went into Active Under Contract status in April, meaning that it is pending with contingencies. The one-bedroom, one-bath apartment with 858 square feet of living space had been priced at $735,000. A bright and open layout includes a designer kitchen with Molteni cabinetry and upscale appliances, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows that open from the living area to a large balcony.

Unit #404 in the I Street building also received an accepted offer in April, with an anticipated closing in May. The modern white-on-white apartment with one bedroom, 1.5 baths and 830 square feet of space had been listed at $765,000. Features include white oak floors, a glossy white Euro-style kitchen with panelized appliances, a desk cubby, and a Juliet balcony.

Unit #908 in the H Street building remains pending. The two-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment had been listed at $1,550,000 before going under contract. It was renovated in 2021 by award winning architect Ernesto Santalla, and enjoys corner window exposures, custom built-ins, a fabulous open kitchen, and an extended balcony. The listing received an accepted offer just two weeks after hitting the market.

There was one closing in April. Unit #501 sold for $750,000 after listing for $785,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath corner residence has 981 square feet of living space, with giant windows throughout, including along the front hallway, the dining area, and the open living room. Other features include white oak floors, leafy views of the courtyard, and a wall of custom built-ins.

Full service amenities are an important part of the picture at The Residences at CityCenterDC, with lobbies for each building, desk staff, concierge, and doormen. Fitness routines include a state-of-the-art gym and separate yoga studio. Other features include wine storage, community rooms, an executive business center, a bar lounge, and two roof parks.
