City Center - Washington DC's Hottest New Development

Offering the complete live, work and play environment, CityCenterDC is a 10-acre mixed-used community in Washington, DC’s Mount Vernon Triangle. There are 216 luxury condos split between two 12-story towers, as well as offices, a hotel, apartment rentals, more than 40 upscale shops and restaurants, and a 1.5-acre park. Located just a few blocks from the National Mall, this popular visitor destination and residential community, is redefining the city’s downtown urban fabric.

The highest priced available residence at CityCenterDC also happens to have received a major reduction in June, from $5,995,000 all the way down to $5,495,000. That’s a half-million dollar cut! Unit #901/902 combines two condos into one very spacious residence with four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and 2,816 square feet of airy living space. There is also an office, a large terrace with putting green, an additional extended balcony, and a temperature controlled private wine cellar than can store 2,300 bottles.

With an asking price of $1,425,000, Unit #702 is a front corner apartment with two bedroom and two baths. The roomy flat has a 1,340 square foot layout with an extra-large main living, dining and cooking area, and nine-foot high ceilings. There are bleached wide-plank floors, a glossy white kitchen that recesses along the wall, and an extended private balcony.

Still available after coming to market in May is Unit #801. The sun-drenched one-bedroom, one-bath flat enjoys a roomy 981 square foot floorplan and is priced at $875,000. There are three exposures, allowing tons of natural light to pour through the floor-to-ceiling windows. And if all that sun gets a little too bright, you can simply adjust the blinds.

Priced at $849,000, Unit #404 is a one-bedroom, 1.5-bath condo. The 1,003 square foot layout is the building’s largest one-bedroom floorplan. There is a very spacious main living area with a huge window wall and an open gourmet kitchen that tucks unobtrusively into the corner. The oversized bedroom suite includes a work desk area and a walk-in closet.

Unit #703 is a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment with an asking price of $799,000. The 882-square foot layout features wide-plank Northern White Oak floors and an enormous window wall with sweeping city views. Unit #905 is still up for grabs at $699,950. Featuring interior design updates from Ernesto Santalla, the one-bedroom, 1.5-bath flat has a stylish 766 square foot layout. Details include designer wall treatments, custom silk drapes, a dedicated office area, an extended private balcony, wide-plank flooring, and a Euro-style modern kitchen.

Unit #908 in the I Street Tower is currently listed at $730,000. The 860 square foot flat has one bedroom and 1.5 baths, with wide-plank floors, overhead track lighting, and full height windows. A classic Foster + Partners gourmet kitchen is completely open to the main living area, with white quartz counters and stainless steel appliances that are panelized within the Molteni cabinetry. 

Competitively priced at $620,000, Unit #1010 is a one-bedroom, one-bath flat with 635 square feet of sunny living space. The linear open design features floor-to-ceiling sliding doors out to the balcony. The gourmet kitchen has panelized appliances, and the bedroom suite has custom closet systems. One garage parking space conveys.

There were no closings in June, but Unit #611 did receive an accepted offer and is now pending. The two-bedroom, 2.5 bath apartment with 1,452 square feet of living space had been listed at $1,550,000. Features include pale Northern Oak floors, stylish full-height built-ins, giant wraparound windows, a modern Euro-style kitchen that fits along one wall, and a long balcony that is perfect for drinks or coffee.

The Residences at CityCenterDC include staffed lobbies for each of the two towers, with front desks, concierge service, and doormen. There are two roof parks along with other outdoor spaces, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a yoga studio, wine storage, a bar lounge, community rooms, business/work centers, a rooftop water feature, and secure parking. In addition to all the onsite shops and restaurants, the mixed-use community is right in the middle of Washington’s downtown area with all its many attractions.
