The 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment has gleaming hardwoods, contemporary kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows, a giant master bath and a balcony.
Coming in a very solid second was Unit #1 at The Dresden in Kalorama. Built in 1910, this is one of Washington’s Best Addresses with an incredible curvilinear design. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment with inlaid wood floors and charming built-ins listed for $699,000 and sold for $750,000 which is $56,000 or 107.30% over the asking price. In third place is Unit #301 at The Sonata in Downtown DC’s Mount Vernon/Chinatown area. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath industrial-chic flat with its concrete ceilings and exposed ductwork was priced at $625,000 but sold for $645,000—103.20% over list.
Unit #825 at The Atrium in Rosslyn is a renovated 1-bedroom flat with wide-plank floors, giant windows, balcony and new kitchen and bath. After hitting the market at $395,000, the cute condo closed at $405,000 (102.53%). Fifth place goes to Unit #306 at Yale Steam Laundry in Mount Vernon. The chic 1-bedroom, 1.5-bath open flat in the former laundry facility has factory-style windows and French doors to a cool terrace. It listed for $454,900 and sold for $460,323 or 102.02%.
Next on the list is Unit #201 at Logan Station in Logan Circle. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment with an open floorplan and gourmet kitchen listed for $774,900 and closed for $790,000 or 101.95%. Our final entry is Unit #702 at Somerset House in Friendship Heights. The spacious 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath apartment with bays, bonus rooms, marble baths and a large terrace listed for $1,825,000 and closed at $1,860,000, or 102.92%.
