Washington’s highest condo sales price in February was Unit #3A at 3303 Water Street in Georgetown. The 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence with 2,523 square feet of living space listed for $3,295,000 and closed at $3,150,000. With an ideal location, the spacious apartment offers huge windows, gleaming hardwood floors, built-ins, a giant white-on-white country kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a large private terrace overlooking the historic C&O Canal and its towpath. It was also the second highest price per square foot at $1,249. Coming in second was Unit #1009 at VIO, the new luxury building perched atop District Wharf in the Southwest Waterfront neighborhood. With a sales price of $3,000,011—a hair over the asking amount and the highest price per sq. ft. for the month at $1,511—this 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath modern flat offers point-blank views of the Washington Channel and boat slips below, both from the giant floor-to-ceiling windows and a large private balcony. The 1,985 square foot apartment also features pale wide-plank floors, a Euro-style kitchen recessed into a single wall and a giant master bedroom suite.

Coming in third was Unit #4C at Wardman Tower in Woodley Park. This exquisitely renovated residence with 3-bedrooms, 3.5-baths and 3,173 square foot of living space sold for $2,900,000. Austrian hardwood floors, a large Henrybuilt kitchen and a sumptuous marble master bath with heated floors are among the features. Fourth place honors go to Unit #1902 at Turnberry Tower in Arlington’s Rosslyn waterfront. The fabulous penthouse with 3,045 square feet of living space closed at $2,800,000. The many features include a private elevator, hardwood floors, massive windows, an open gourmet kitchen and a sweeping private balcony.

Next up is Unit #202 at Somerset House in Friendship Heights which sold for $2,515,300. The 3,400 square foot condo with 3-bedrooms, 3.5-baths, curved walls and private terrace sits inside the exclusive gated Parc Somerset community with its country club amenities. Our final entry in the highest priced sales is Unit #75 at 2101 Connecticut in the prestigious Kalorama neighborhood with a $2,287,500 closing. The 2,800 square foot cooperative apartment blends new and old, with classic hardwood floors, original built-ins, a fireplace and updated kitchen and baths. It also had the sixth highest price per sq. ft. at $817.
